About Mirai (2025)
Mirai (A.K.A. Mirāi: Super Yodha) is a fantasy action-adventure movie that is written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni in the Telugu language, produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory.
Cast & Crew
Mirai is the main warrior of Teja Sajja. Manchu Manoj portrays bad guy Mahabir Lama of the Black Sword group. Playing major roles are Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram and others. Gowra Hari composes music.
Story Premise
It is set in a mythological-futuristic setting and tells the story of a powerful warrior who is required to protect nine sacred books of Emperor Ashoka, during his time-the books that have the capacity to change people into gods. He fights the black sword, commanded by Mahabir Lama who needs the scriptures to release the darkness.
Release Details
The theatrical release was originally scheduled to take place on 5 September 2025, but it has been pushed to 12 September 2025.
It is also being released in several languages- Telugu, and dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi and Chinese in both 2D and 3D versions.
Distribution & Promotion
The Hindi theatrical distribution rights have been purchased by Dharma Productions (banner of Karan Johar) to reach maximum audience in North India.
They have released a spectacular teaser and trailer- fans praised the large scale visuals and Super Yodha of Teja Sajja.
The film already has a huge OTT and satellite deal before the theatrical premiere. It is supposed to stream on JioHotstar following its theatrical release.
